IRS/State Information
Make A Smile Foundation, Inc. organizes seasonal events throughout the year to support children in need.* These events include shopping sprees where participating children select clothing or toys, followed by a small celebratory gathering.
The funds raised are used to support the Foundation’s core initiatives, including the purchase of clothing and toys for children, covering the costs associated with shopping spree events, and enabling the continued growth and expansion of our charitable programs.
*The children are identified as “in need” by school nurses or social workers who identify children on subsidized school lunch programs. We provide the invitations for the Shopping Spree to the nurses/social workers who then deliver them to the children directly.
